Directions to Jackson-Via

Finding our worship center can be a little confusing. Here are some directions to help you find your way in.

1. Look for the Ground Zero sign on Harris Road and turn left.
2. Shortly after turning on Harris Road, you will see the school. Turn left when you see the next Ground Zero sign.
3. Once you've parked, follow the signs down to the loading dock.
4. There will be more signs posted to show you the door to enter.

For safety of our congregation, we lock our doors after the service begins. If you arrive a few minutes late, it's no problem. Simply call or text the phone number listed on the sign and someone will promptly let you in.

What To Expect

We know that going to a new place can be nerve racking. Hopefully we can help by answering some of your questions. We look forward to meeting you!

What is a typical service like?

A typical service will last about 65 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for a fellowship meal and to meet the rest of the GZ Naz family.

What time is your service?

Our Sunday service at Jackson-Via Elementary School starts at 10am the first four Sundays of every month. If a month has five Sundays, we take the fifth Sunday off. We also offer an afternoon service every Sunday at 12:30pm at Crescent Halls.

Where are you located?

Sunday morning 10am service is currently based out of Jackson Via Elementary school located at 508 Harris Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
Sunday afternoon 12:30pm service is currently based at Crescent Halls, 500 South 1st Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902.

What about my children?

We have a program for children and teens from Pre-K through 12th grade during our Sunday morning 10am service. Everyone is together for worship in the sanctuary and then all youth are dismissed to a more age appropriate service in the common room and gymnasium.
*Please note child and youth programs are not available at the Crescent Hall evening service.

What if my child/children cry?

It's okay, really! We love kids and we also have a nursery so please bring your little ones. The Kingdom of God is full of noisy children. Kids will be kids.

Come as you are!

Can someone pick me up?

Yes, If you live within 5 miles of Jackson Via School. Please call us with your information to ask for a ride.
